Kate Stapleton, Attorney at Law
Kate’s clients describe her as perceptive, straightforward, and compassionate. She understands that each case is unique, and consistently goes the “extra mile” for her clients.
Kate focuses her practice exclusively on family law, delivering pragmatic, compassionate help during challenging times. Before starting her own firm, she cut her professional teeth as an Associate Attorney at a well-regarded Tacoma family law firm. There, she learned how to deliver quality results while treating all parties with dignity and respect.
Kate’s personal dedication to her clients is evidenced by her past work with the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, the Immigration Clinic at St. Mary’s University School of Law (Kate’s alma mater), and by her ongoing involvement with Volunteer Legal Services in Tacoma.
As an undergraduate, Kate majored in Psychology, which provides her with a unique skill set that distinguishes her from her peers. In 2013, Kate interned with the Army Judge Advocate General Corps. Her experience with the JAG Corps, combined with her role as a military spouse, lends her a keen understanding of the needs of military members and their families. Kate was awarded the National Military Family Association licensing scholarship in 2015 and remains active within the military community.
